A 21-year-old beauty queen Anagabriela Espinoza from Mexico was crowned 2009 Miss International, the 49th edition of Miss International beauty pageant, was held at the Sichuan International Tennis Center, Chengdu, Sichuan, China on November 28, 2009.
At the end of the competition, outgoing titleholder Miss International 2008 Alejandra Andreu of Spain crowned Anagabriela Espinoza of Mexico as her successor.
