Joahanna Lasic crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2009

Joahana Mariel Lasic, a beautiful girl 20 year-old of Ciudad Autonoma, was crowned Miss Universo Argentina 2009 during the pageant held in the Hall of the Americas NH Hotel Provincial on 23th May.

The 2009 Beauty Queen Joahana Mariel Lasic, stand 1.82 m tall , will represent Argentina in Miss Universe 2009 Beauty Contest.

Miss Universe 2009 , the 58th Beauty Universe Pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza , from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008 , will crown her successor in the event.

Crown frvourite, a beautiful gorgeous Gretel Venecia Otto of Misiones was justed First Princess. Lovely girl Gisela Berger from Córdoba was Second Princess.

Miss Argentina World and International 2009

Miss Mundo Argentina annual pageant, Evelyn Lucía Manchón, a beautiful 22 year-old was crowned Miss Mundo Argentina 2009 during the event held on 17th May 2009.

A new beauty queen of Argentina will represent her country at the Miss World 2009 pageant.

Miss World 2009, the 59th Miss World beauty pageant will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia will crown her successor, Miss World 2008. About 120 contestants are expected to attend the event.

Crownd favourite, Mercedes Viaña, 18 year-old, was judged first runner-up ( will go to Miss International 2009). While Gisela Menossi, 21 year-old, Ayrshire was secound runner-up ( will go to Miss Earth 2009).

Represent Argentina in Miss World 2006 - Beatriz Vallejos

Maria Beatriz Vallejos Schultze, 19-year old stand 5'8.5", comes from Corrientes in Argentina. It is a place with a lot of natural riches: from minerals, flora & fauna to its cattle and horses. It is also a country of colourful and exciting carnivals Maria has completed a course as a graphic designer and is currently studying biochemistry. Her ambition is to be a better person.

Hobbies: Jass, tap dancing, salsa, swing, tap dancing.
Music: all types of music from classical to folklore
Sport: playing volleyball.

She does not have a particular favourite food as she enjoys eating everything.

She has represented Argentina in Miss World 2006. Maria will represent Argentina in Miss Universe 2008.

Miss Universe 2008, the 57th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Diamond Bay Resort in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008.
