Jenel Cox crowned Miss Guyana Universe 2009
Jenel Cox was last night crowned Miss Guyana Universe 2009 at the National Cultural Centre. First runner- up was Rachael Bakker and the second runner- up was Lucria Rambalak.
Jenel Cox will be the next ambassador representing Guyana at the Miss Universe 2009 beauty pageant contest.
Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe beauty pageant contest, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza, from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor in the event.
