Miss Egypt 2007( 2nd R-Up) : Yara Naoum

The Miss Egypt 2007 was held on April 23, 2007 in the Nile Theatre in Cairo, broadcasted by Melody Hits. Presenters were Tamer Hagras and Meriam Amin.

Yara Naoum is 2nd Runner-up of Miss Egypt 2007.

she will represent Egypt in the 57th Miss Universe 2008 Pageant at the Crown Convention Center (Diamond Bay Resort) in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008.

Miss Egypt Universe 2008

Cairo, EGYPT, May 25 - As the Miss Egypt 2008 pageant is scheduled to take place in December to celebrate the event's 10th annuvirsary, Miss Egypt Organization (Face To Face) had to choose a representative to Miss Universe 2008.

A special pageant was held last night in Cairo and among 12 contestants who were all runner-ups in the last three editions of the pageant 20-year-old Yara Naoum, who was last years 2nd runner-up, was crowned Miss Egypt Universe 2008.

Yara who stands 176cm-tall, is a senior student at the Higher Institue of Cinema in Cairo, and has already starred in a major film production last year.

She is also a part-time model.

Elham Wagdi was Miss Egypt Universe 2009

CAIRO: Elham Wagdi, a beautiful 1.75 m and 25 year-old from Cairo, was crowned Miss Egypt Universe 2009 during the event held on 25th May 2009, as informed by the organizing agency Face 2 Face.


Elham Wagdi, who a dancer, painter, and aerobics instructor, will complete in the Miss Universe 2009 pageant.


Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza, from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor in the event.


She was 1st runner-up at the Miss Egypt 2005 contest and has also represented the country in Beauty International events as Miss Earth and Miss Intercontinental.
