Anelise Laulau, Miss Campeche wins the Sportswoman Brazil 2009

Anelise Laulau, Miss Ilha do Campeche won the Miss Sportswoman Brazil 2009 fast-track event award. Anelise Laulau became the first Miss World Brazil 2009 contestant to advance to the semi-finals.

Two other islands was second and third placed, respectively. Elisa Hoeppers, Miss Ilha de Santa Catarina, who took silver, and Raquel Peddoni, Miss Fernando de Noronha, winner of the bronze medal.

The lovely 38 candidates were divided in 4 groups as Spice Green, Together and MixSSed, Red Roses, and Green Girls. They all played volleyball, soccer, and golf.

Miss Mundo Brasil 2009 Beauty contest will be complete on 4 July at Hotel do Frade, Angra dos Reis. Miss Mundo Brasil 2008, Tamara Almeida Silva of Minas Gerais, will crown her successor at this event. The show will be telecast to the whole country by CNT.

The Beauty queen Miss World Brasil 2009 will compete representing her country at the 2009 Miss World Contest.

Miss World 2009, the 59th Miss World beauty pageant will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia will crown her successor, Miss World 2008. About 120 contestants are expected to attend the event.

Roraima wins Miss Mundo Brasil 2009 and Represent Miss World

Angra dos Reis: No fewer than 38 Brazilian beauties competed this Saturday 4th July the Miss World Brazil 2009 in Angra dos Reis (RJ). And after many smiles here, to there and very nice notes of the jury for all sides, Luciana de Souza Sílvia Reis (22 year-old), a representative of Roraima, won the pageant contest.

A new beauty queen 1.76 m Luciana Reis will represent Brazil at Miss World 2009 Beauty Pageant Contest.

Isabel Correia, Miss Sergipe wins the Beach Model Brazil 2009

Isabel Correia, Miss Sergipe, won the title Best Model Brazil award (4th fast-track event)at the Novo Frade Hotel and became the fourth candidate to advance to Miss Brazil’s semi-finals.

While Karine Osório, Misses Acre and Daliane Menezes, Miss Rio Grande do Norte were runner-up.

The other two finalists of beauty course were pageant contestants from Mato Grosso do Sul, Lorena Bueri, and Tocantins, Karen Jasper.

The 38 beauties showed in outfits created by Elaine Henrique.

All 5 were hired by L’Equipe, one of the top agencies in Brazil.

Mariana Notarangelo, Miss Rio de Janeiro, won the Beach Beauty Brazil award (3rd fast-track event) and adavanced to Miss World Brazil 2009’s semi-finals.

While Jocasta Costa, Miss São Paulo was first runner-up, and the 2nd runner-up was Livia Nepomuceno, Miss Distrito Federal.

The other two finalistas were Miss Marajó, Jordana Sidô, and Miss Acre, Karine Osório.
