Elham Wagdi was Miss Egypt Universe 2009

CAIRO: Elham Wagdi, a beautiful 1.75 m and 25 year-old from Cairo, was crowned Miss Egypt Universe 2009 during the event held on 25th May 2009, as informed by the organizing agency Face 2 Face.
Elham Wagdi, who a dancer, painter, and aerobics instructor, will complete in the Miss Universe 2009 pageant.
Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza, from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor in the event.
She was 1st runner-up at the Miss Egypt 2005 contest and has also represented the country in Beauty International events as Miss Earth and Miss Intercontinental.
