Miss Tahiti 2009 and Miss Earth Tahiti Crowned

Papeete: Newly Beauty Queen crowned Miss Tahiti 2009. A beautiful 19 year-old Puahinano Bonno was crowned Miss Tahiti 2009 during the evening in Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia last Friday 26 Jun 2009 with the participation of 12 candidates.
Puahinano Bonno, stand 1.78 m , is studies in Business Management applied to the tourism sector in Los Angeles, California. Puahinano will represent Tehiti at Miss France 2010 in Paris.
Crownd favorite, 20 year-old Niuriki Teremate was judged first runner-up. Niuriki Teremate, who 1.74 m tall will represent Tahiti in 2009 Miss Earth Beauty Pageant.
Miss Earth 2009, the 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held between the 4th and 24th of October, 2009 in Manila, Philippines.
While Mereani Meyrand was the second runner-up and Heimata Lucas was Miss Heiva.
