NICOSIA: The new Star Cyprus 2009 and Miss Cyprus 2009 crowned.
A beautiful Demetra Olimpiou was crowned The Star Cyprus 2009 during the evening of Cyprus Official Beauty Carlsberg 2009 pageant show held in the Pavilion in Nicosia, the capital and largest city of Cyprus, on last Thursday 2 July.
The new beauty queen Demetra Olimpiou who won won the new Ford Fiesta, an offer the company MICHAELS AUTOMOTIVE LTD., will represent the Cyprus for competitive in Miss Universe 2010 Beauty Pageant Contest. ( Klelia Giasemidou, Star Cyprus 2008 will competitive in Miss Universe 2009 beauty pageant contest )
While a beautiful 1.68 m Christalla Tsiali was crowned Miss Cyprus 2009 , which will represent the country at the Miss World 2009 Beauty Pageant Contest.
Miss World 2009, the 59th Miss World beauty pageant contest will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia will crown her successor, Miss World 2008. About 120 contestants are expected to attend the event.
Crowd beauty favorite, Antrea Ckolou was judged firat runner-up, and Valentina Elsagiet was secound runner-up.
