Shanel Debattista was crowned Miss World Malta 2009
Shanel Debattista, from Pieta, Malta was crowned Miss World Malta 2009 in a contest held on the premises Montekristo with the participation of 32 candidates and televised live by TV Favorite.
The first runner up is Sarah Aguis and the second runner up was Tiffany Pisani.
Claire Marie Busuttil and Laketic Divna completed the 5 finalists.
Shanel, 22 years of 1.70M and will represent Malta at Miss World 2009 Beauty Pageant Contest.
Miss World 2009, the 59th Miss World beauty pageant contest will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia will crown her successor, Miss World 2008. About 120 contestants are expected to attend the event.
